The past few years trays have become all the rage on the decorating front. Not only do they add a nice aesthetic to a table, they are a great organizational tool.

Trays can be used in so many rooms and in so many ways, from the home office to the bedroom. You change them up whenever you need a change of scenery or simply switch out elements by season.

Some of my favorites are the lacquer trays from West Elm. The woven version is depicted in my bedroom photo above. I also have one on my kitchen table.

The monogrammed acrylic tray from Design Darling pictured above would be a great gift.

For a larger table or ottoman style coffee table, you might like this oversize wooden ottoman tray from Pier One.
